Strut Your Stuff

Kathryn from Life on the {Scrap} Beach was recently featured on the Graphic 45 blog and did a card using this gal from their Curtain Call line.  I just LOVED her card, you can see the whole article here.  She used an 8x8 pack and of course the lady was reduced significantly and better suited for card making.  I liked her so well though that I decide to do a #10 sized vertical card and here's the end result.  I really like how she came out.

The flower is from a swap from YPP and I've lost the tag that was attached to it, so if it was yours please message me so I can give you credit because I just love the flower and it worked perfect here.
I printed out the sentiment 'Strut Your Stuff Baby' on the computer.
Bling is Prima, base of card is Kraft Cardstock, mats are from the Curtain Call collection.

A Tween Journal

My Granddaughter's birthday is coming up and I wanted to give her something I'd made.  I decided since she's a tween she could use a journal to record her thoughts, pictures, doodles, etc etc etc.  So here's what I came up with.  All papers and stickers are from Me and My Big Ideas So Girly Collection.  I used my Cinch and bound the side with 12 rings and ran a ribbon from front to back through eyelets to tie.

Day Dreamin'

Art Doll Fashionistas!
The kit - Art Doll Fashionistas!
I think this is my favorite of the three cards I made using Beth Rimmer's new kit Art Doll Fashionistas!  It's over at her store at Deviant Scrap, be sure to check out all her designs, they are just so fun to work with!
On this I printed the hat and tail twice and popped them up.  The tail I added teal glitter glue to give it a shimmer and glued the top portion directly to the card gradually adding pop dots to the tail to give it that lifted look, I also left the top fins free to float.  I printed the Day Dreamin' on the computer and inked the edges with teal and Vintage Photo.
Here's a bit of the envelope, the mermaid body extends to the front of the envelope as well as this part on the back.

Let it Go

Another card using Beth Rimmer's new kit, Art Doll Fashionistas!    Be sure to check out her shop at Deviant Scrap, her stuff will definitely help you step outside the box!
Here you can see a peek at the envelope which the top flap has been lined with  a portion of the card.
I added Glossy Accents to the heart (which had been cut twice and popped up) and the bird.  Her dress has been accented with gold glitter and glitter pen.

Bra Free

My friend, Beth Rimmer, has just designed a new kit call Art Doll Fashionistas! and has it in her shop at Deviant Scrap, be sure to check out her stuff, it's totally off the wall and way too much fun!  I had to make some cards from it.  Here's the first, it's a 5x5 card with matching envelope.
Peeking out from behind is the matching envelope with part of the card on the inside top flap as a liner. Here you can see where I printed her head twice and the cat and popped them up above the bottom layer

I used Glossy accents on the lips both hers and the cats.
