Home Sweet Home

Modern Linen ApronThink Fast Designs was the inspiration for this weeks Etsy Inspired Challenge Blog - Challenge #134.  I choose this darling apron because the print made me instantly think of Cosmo Crickets line Early Bird, perfect for the challenge.  I also used a chip board piece from Crafty Secrets, she had the right coffee pot what can I say?

Here's my card for the challenge:
I used Making Memories twine around the front mat
Don't ya just love that coffee pot?  She's saying 'Always with a smile'

Tea Party

In the January/February 2011 issue of Paper Crafts  magazine Susan Deering West designed a card titled Tea for Two.  I just loved how she did the tablecloth and fashioned my two cards after hers.  Thanks Susan for the inspiration!  Be sure to check out her blog as well, Creative Juice for lots more inspiration.

The backgrounds of my cards (and the envelopes which aren't shown) are made from wallpaper scraps.
Prima bling for the teapot steam.

Putting on the Ritz

I think I'm in love with this Curtain Call Collection from Graphic 45.  The card possibilities are endless.
The flower is one I made, the bling Prima
The round chipboard letters are 3 Birds, I just used a little Black Soot Distress ink around the edges.
Inside has the same verse as below - 'Still Gorgeous after all these years - Happy Birthday'

Applause

Another card using the Graphic 45 Curtain Call Collection.
Bling is Recollections
Inside verse printed on computer, mat distressed with Vintage Photo and Old Paper inks.
The gorgeous flower on the front was made by Natalie Watkins and was a swap from Your Paper Pantry.

Shoes

After I had cut my shoes out with the Forever Young cart on my Cricut I had the reverse on the paper, so I laid it on a mat and used Tattered Angels leather mist on it.  I really like the way it turned out.

The sentiment on the hat if from a Fiskars stamp pack.  I believe the ribbon strip is a self sticking Martha Stewart ribbon.
The little house is a chipboard from Maya Road
